X/Y PROJECT – Maura Manfredi and Luca Rossini
Character nr.2 – X
At the forth day of the X/Y PROJECT theme I get to publish the second shot of the second character. At this point the modularity of both the Y and X planes should be obvious. What remains constant are the tables, part of the furnishing, and the overall esthetic.
The participant is again Laura Travanti, the costume designer who helped us with these first pieces of the X/Y PROJECT. With respect to her Y plane, which I posted yesterday, in her X plane Laura wanted to show how her “inner vision” of life looks like. Not a simulacrum, this time, but a triumph, where her senses are finally let free to experience life. So she thought about opening that black, stuffed, kind-of-bird she dressed like for the Y plane, and let what’s inside to finally get free: the vermilion red feathers of a passionate living bird. On a table of red vermillion food.
