When talking about her X plane, in contraposition with the Y plane, Veronica has this to say:
“The opposite plane can’t be anything else than the freedom from the self-imposed constrictions and obligations, as well as from formalities. When I picture myself lying on that red table, I feel animated by an instinctual and vulturous sensuality.”
