Three weddings in a row are quite a tough job. I know that if the studio takes the wedding direction seriously, three or four weddings a week during the hot months will become the norm, so I was much interested in seeing how we would have managed the stress and the fatigue. We already shot a wedding for three days in a row, but that was the Pakistani celebration and every day was a different event with the same people. We didn’t have the stress to take portraits of all the guests each and every day, for example.
Anyway, to the question “can we stand three weddings in a row'”, the answer is “yes we can!”. We survived, it actually was a lot of fun, each day a different party, a different location, two different families to get to know “from the inside”, a different couple to get along with during their most special day.
So, today we shot the last of the triplet, actually the last of the month. Tomorrow I’ll spend the day getting ready for the majestic adventure in Alaska, and on Monday I’ll leave the country for it. I won’t be able to post the daily pic on the blog until the 1st of August, I’m sorry for that. If I get any internet connection while into the wild (extremely unlikely) I’ll post some updates on the facebook page, so, if you didn’t do it yet, please go and “like” it. I guess you can visit it even if you are one of the few without a facebook account.
Before closing this post, I want to wish all the possible luck and happiness to the young couple in the picture, that your life can always be as perfect as it looks in this portrait 😉
