The jacuzzi is back on. Even if holidays are over, hot weather yet isn’t, so a refreshing (and relaxing) bath before bedtime stays priceless. First thing in the morning I worked publishing of the daily shot and it’s story, then I went crazy on studying how DNS nameservers and A records work in order to make the new address I just registered with the Italian service Aruba to point to the new site/portfolio/blog I am setting up on Graph Press Service. Unfortunately, changes on DNS take time to be effective, so when eventually I got it to work I couldn’t guess how “exactly” I did it and, as expected, when some of the changes I made took finally effect the whole system went down again.
Then it was definitely time to show up at the office and take care of some business. I left in the evening, just in time to get home for a meeting with a couple looking for their wedding photographer. It’s a very nice couple, they seem fun and sweet, so I sincerely hope they’ll book us. In the meantime, my parents came back from a long walk with Agata and we had dinner all together. We spoke about the future, Italian and mine, it seems they’ve never been so bounded to each other.
So, the jacuzzi bath in the night was really the perfect adding (and ending) of such a day. I will still have to publish the daily shot, wrestle with the DNS and the new website, then show up in the office, and perform other activities (family or work related) in the following days, so knowing that they can now end with a relaxing bath on the terrace makes everything brighter…
