Two days ago, at day eighteen, I “incidentally” dropped my father’s old Zenit-E in the bathtub while taking the drowning self-portrait. I thought that these cameras were so tough that they could have been easily dried and used again. Well, it turned out it is not so simple, especially if they already had lots of issues. Yesterday I tried to dismantle it to check if I could do something to repair it. Zenit-E are crazy hard to open, and inside it’s a lot of small springs and mental mechanisms. I obviously ended up breaking it definitely. So, here it is, my zombified version of the Zenit-E, a tough warrior which is now totally dead and good only for some mechanical demonstrations at my photography lessons.
So long, Zenit-E, and thanks for all the fish 🙂
