My photograph looked so great on the double page of l’Espresso magazine, that I couldn’t resist from having it in the 365(+1) Days of NEX-7 project. And since I had the same friends who modeled for the shot at dinner, I decided to go for “a shot of the shot within the shot”. I put them back in the same position of the magazine shot, set the same lights and climbed to get the same perspective. But this time, I had “the Boss” reading the magazine in place of the iPad. I like the effect very much. Again, we all had so much fun, I really wish I can turn my life into doing this kind of things!
Oh, and thank you all, from everywhere you are. You’ve all been very nice with your comments, here on the blog, on my facebook page, on my personal facebook account, on flickr, on the forums, on my email, etc. etc.
Today I realized that, since the beginning of the project, an ardent community has grew larger and larger around this project, and my photography in general. This means so much to me, it means something I didn’t even know that existed when I started the 365. You are the voices able to overpower the (luckily few) horrible comments sometimes I happen to get.
So, it’s finally time to celebrate. I have my chef-friend who’s going to cook an amazing dinner, my other friend which is back from Congo for a week which brought amazing wines (he could afford), and “the Boss” who brought homemade limoncello. We’re going to have a great time.
Nice! It’s like one of those parts in a movie where the main character with a shock realizes they are on some sort of hidden camera, this picture froze the moment just before the character looks to see where the camera is. Hard to describe what I mean, but you may have seen it before … Anyhow glad you had the big party, you def have the proper house for a great night! Soon you’ll be shooting the wedding of some mob bosses daughter after he gives you an offer you can’t refuse 😉
