Today it was “one of those mondays”… luckily I had a meeting with a couple which is looking for a wedding photographer, so at half past six I left work for good. I know the bride follows this stream, so I want to thank her for keeping us as an option and to wish her the best of luck with everything.
That said, this is my neighborhood, again, Villaggio Olimpico, but this time it is very close from where I live, being it my very street. It is an important place for me and Claudia: this is where we firstly moved in, eight years ago, with no job whatsoever, living with very tight money; this is the place where I asked her to marry me, seven years ago, in front of a nicely cooked dinner and surrounded by candles; this is the place we packed into just one car when we left our city for the Netherlands, not knowing if and when we would have been back; this is the place where we eventually started being a family, it’s my daughter Agata’s very first house. We’ll be leaving this place soon, a couple of months at the latest, and this time it will be for good, I don’t see any of us coming back here anywhere soon. But it’ll probably stay one of my favorite places on earth.
