I need a holiday! Busy week is at its end, and a busier weekend is waiting for us. Saturday and Sunday we’ll be presenting our wedding photography business at Sposi in Villa, an event which will take place at Villa Clodia, a beautiful ancient villa with a stunning view on lake Bracciano. Varoius wedding vendors will be there with their stands to showcase their products and services, from wedding dresses to flower decorations, etc. Our presence at the event is mandatory, since we partner with Villa Clodia and often shoot weddings there.
Sunday, however, Claudia and I will split up, she’ll keep attending Sposi in Villa, while I’ll be shooting a wedding in Rome. Andrea Veroni will help me out and work as my assistant. Andrea is a very good live music photographer which works for Sottopalco, one of the major agencies for music photography.
The wedding will be a lot of fun to shoot because it’s a Jewish wedding. I’ve never assisted to this kind of ceremony and party, so I’m very excited. We spent the night studying it on Wikipedia, Youtube, and on the precise and precious notes that the bride left us at our last meeting. I love when I have the chance to shoot weddings of different cultures or religions, because everything gets new again, and shooting new things is always interesting.
So, I need a holiday, but I’ll have to keep working non-stop for at least the next ten days. Then we’ll see. Maybe I’ll manage to gift Claudia and I with a few days in London. I love that city, the musicals, the sushi, the Indian, the shops, the museums, the mess. Maybe. We’ll see.
