He’s one of my curators, probably the person that believes the most in my work, right now. He actually started believing in my photography even when it was to me just slightly more than a hobby. I must reckon it to him.
He works in the artistic business. He’s the one responsible for the whole communication of Associazione Romaeuropa per l’Arte e la Cultura, one of the major European institutions for the promotion and diffusion of art, and recently started, with a few others, a new association, called 7.30, to produce and promote young artists.
Now, I happen to be one of those young artists 7.30 is producing and promoting. By the mid of April they will host my first personal exhibition, focusing on my low-light nocturnal scenarios/portraits. There are already a few projects for after the exhibition, but right now we all are highly focused on this first step.
Since he has an office job, we usually have our meetings at bars, at aperitif time. We drink bloody mary, eat some appetizers, and talk about the exhibition, our jobs, politics, good food, and life. I love how he’s one of those passionate people our country almost got rid of.
