I spent the day attending Sposi in Villa, a little wedding exposition held at Villa Clodia. Unfortunately heavy rains poured all over the area for most of the day, so we didn’t have much affluence. Let’s hope for Sunday to be a super crowded day!
The thing was nice anyway. I run into all these professionals (i.e. make-up artists, hair stylists, florists, dress designers, musicians, etc.) at every wedding I shoot, but I never have the time to have a chat with them and share thoughts or ideas. So, today was refreshing and inspirational somehow.
The exhibition is a little different than usual because there is only one provider for each service, like one photographer (us), one florist, etc. The idea is not only to showcase your distinct product to the couples, but also to offer a over-comprehensive and super-discounted high quality package for those who rent the villa and all the other services from the providers in the exhibition. The owner of the place, the wedding planner Leonardo Scanu, is working hard to make this potentially winning idea work. From our side, we gave our availability and designed a new and dedicated discount that we’ll offer solely at the event. Let’s see if it works.
In the evening we left, we collected Nicholas (which spent the day wandering around Manziana and Bracciano) and drove back home for our favorite dinner+drinks combination. There are so many restaurants and pubs in the area we always have some new places to check out.
