I’m getting closer and closer to what I’m looking for. Tomorrow I’ll have “the big test” in which I’ll have to shoot two models to prove that I can work on my personal fashion project. I can’t tell you who’s the client yet, but you should know that the project is really interesting, I’ve already worked on few ideas, and it would keep me busy for quite a long time. All this said, you’ll see how important this assignment could be in my path to became a full-time (and full-paid) photographer. Especially if you take into account that, besides being a joke of a country, Italy still plays a crucial role in the business of fashion, and so fashion photography still is a good business here around.
So, at day three of studio lighting and modeling studying with Julia, this is the result. I’m already pretty happy, though I know I’m still a few steps away from what I’m looking for, and thousand of miles away from the Good Stuff. But, right now, I feel like everything has a chance to work out, that I could eventually end up doing some good, and that the future isn’t so inaccessible and evil as it seemed just a few months ago.
Fellows, what else should I say, I hope you’ll enjoy this portrait, please cross your fingers for the test I’ll have tomorrow, and stay tuned. I’ll definitely keep you in the loop!
All the best for you Luca, just do your thing and they’ll love it!
