Sony RX1, 35mm f2 Carl Zeiss

Fifth day of “Night Walking”.
Porta Portese, Rome, Underground parking and apartment building.
The RX-1 is a very different camera for night photography than the NEX-7 with the Voigtlander 35mm, which I used for the whole “Momentary Suspended” series. Besides the form factor, which is quite close, the RX-1 is a way better ISO performer and thanks to the super silent shutter I never get spotted due the “click”. On the other hand, the 35mm requires me to be quite closer to the subject, and I can’t use the tilt screen to dissimulate my “shooting intentions”. Besides all that, the focal lengths makes working with frontal perspectives more difficult and using converging diagonals more interesting. I’m still adapting and testing, I guess.
