Among the clients that Julia brought us there is Vanessa Cerrone, event consultant and expert in wedding planning and organizing. She’s currently renewing her image on the network, and Julia is curing her new website, design and contents.
We wanted to portray her classy metropolitan style, so we planned the whole shooting among some fancy-chic places in the city center. First of all, however, Julia and Claudia helped her with hairstyle and makeup. They three went to Vatami, the hairstylist down the road, where I joined them almost two hours later. By then Vanessa was perfect, beautifully dressed and styled.
We grabbed a taxi and moved to Piazza Navona. From there on we moved from place to place, had a few drinks, a little lunch, but mostly took a lot of portraits. The restaurant/bar we particularly enjoyed was Cybo: good wine, tasty food, great service and fantastic atmosphere.
During the job I had a chance to test the EyeFi-iPad functionality: besides some minor issues, like loose of the connection from time to time, the feature resulted incredibly useful. Julia, Claudia and Vanessa were able to follow my work almost in real time, and we could always review all the shots on the large retina display of the iPad, something way much better than using the small lcd screen of the NEX-7. This tool helped a lot in making the client very happy very quickly, easing up the mood and chilling out the day.
