Third day of “Meet Shadow”.
Ombra is a dog. As such she loves food. Not as most of the dogs I’ve met so far, however, meaning that she’s not obsessed by food nor she begs her life for a bite. Maybe it’s because she’s still a puppy, I don’t know, last time I had a puppy it was fifteen years ago and it lasted the short time that puppy-hood lasts. That said, Ombra loves food, and she’ll be close to those who handle food if she can still put an eye on me and see what I’m doing.
It’s nice to have a dog in the house again. In this house, in particular. Since the very day Claudia and I got the chance to look at the maps of this apartment (at the time the construction company had just started working on the foundations) I remember think how nicely would have been for my old dog Lucy to live there, with the big terrace and the open spaces. Unfortunately when we eventually moved in Lucy was already too old to enjoy most of them. So I’m deeply glad we have Ombra with us now, to share our home and our life with.
