My sister’s kitchen. Not much else to say.
I spent the day working at home, mostly on photography related tasks, but it hasn’t been a very productive day. The fact is that I went to bed around three o’clock last night, cause after the play “American Buffualo” at the theatre Cometa Off we went for a late dinner with the actors, the crew, and some other friends. We ended up getting home around half past one, and then Claudia and I started talking about stuff and didn’t realize how late it was getting. Bottom line, I woke up around ten this morning, with a slight headache and totally energy-less.
I never left home, wearing my pajama all day long. Then something happened. Agata started complaining she wanted to go out. She literally pointed, then banged, at our apartment door. And once we opened it, she ran at my sister’s door (she lives on our same landing), and made it clear she wanted to visit her. It’s so amazing to see how, growing up, these little monkeys get to their own decisions, and we try to support Agata’s whenever possible.
So, I eventually had to get out of my pajama and wear something more appropriate to walk my daughter to my sister’s place, something which takes like six steps on a landing in which we are the only one currently living. Yet, pajama didn’t seem right, and I opted for jeans and jumper.
The reasons why Agata loves my sister’s place so much are multiple. First of all, my sister has a cat, which Agata loves to chase (and calls “Ao”, a reduction of “Miao”, the sound Italians associates to cats). Secondly, my sister plays guitar and sings (she’s actually a fantastic singer, you should listen to her songs on myspace), and Agata loves music. Third, my sister’s living room and kitchen are in the same, cosy room, so Agata gets to play with the cat, the music, and the food always staying close to us. Oh, and obviously she loves her aunt… that should come without saying!
Nice shot, Luca. Good tones here.
Is the cat blue, perchance? “Ao” is “blue” in Japanese「written: 青」. Perhaps Agata has been watching pokemon or some retro 90’s games? 😉
Hey Martin, unfortunately the cat isn’t blue, that would be awesome and very Japanese indeed!
