Days are already getting longer. It’s half past six in the evening when I take this shot, and the sun has just fallen below the horizon. I’m at the company’s gate, waiting for the guard to electronically open it, when my eyes get caught by the street lights that have suddenly turned on. The cold air of winter makes the sunset and dusk colors pop out psychedelically and the street lights stand out solemnly.
Anyway, today is a monday of a super busy week, but is also the monday of the last week of the project! Next monday we’ll farewell this project and everything that happened in the last year. And, indeed, it was a lot! When I started the blog I couldn’t expect it to turn out the way it did, I wouldn’t be exaggerating the slightest if I say that this project changed my life.
And, if this year served firstly to prove to me that I should take photography to the next level, and eventually forced me to reduce drastically my other commitments, I have big hopes for the next year to give me the chances to put myself on the line, and see what I’m really capable of. And because I believe it will be an intense year, so deeply bounded to what happened in the last 365(+1) days, I feel the urge to share next year with you fellows too…
So, here is the first of the few announcements I will do in this last week of the project: the 11th of February, the very last day of the thirty forth year of my life, we’ll farewell the 365(+1) Days of NEX-7, but the 12th, the very first day of the thirty fifth year of my life, we’ll greet the new 365 Days of ***.
Stay tuned 🙂
Antici …… pation … Can’t believe it’s almost been a year, I gotta do something with my life this year!
