So, finally I found out that learning how to eat with chopsticks isn’t hard just for Europeans, but for Chinese too. My sister came back from China with these things they put over chopsticks to make it easier. So the sticks can’t fly around, and stay parallel despite every mistake one can make.
And what is more Chinese than a beautifully stylized panda?
It is amazing into how much trouble we have to get to properly eat our food. I mean, I’m not in the phase of forks with my daughter, but I’m sure it won’t be easy at all when we’ll get into the spaghetti topic. I remember learning myself, and I think I really mastered the art solely at 6 or 7.
And, guys, I know how difficult it is because I see how non Italians approach the issue. And I must tell you, using the spoon to help roll the spaghetti with the fork isn’t right at all 🙂
Fork on the plate all the way 😉
