First time traveling in a plane with Agata. Taxi, airport, flight, airport, train, car. We left home at noon, we arrived in Leiden, The Netherlands, around seven in the evening. It wasn’t really evening, though, the dusk here in the north lasts for hours…
Unfortunately, the camera was buried into one of the bags, so I didn’t have access to it and I couldn’t take shots of the trip. As soon as we arrived we had to unpack everything and get Agata’s things organized (her bed, her changing, her food, and so on).
In the meantime the others arrived. We are visiting Dario and Francesca, our friends in Leiden, but we’re not the only guests. We are a total of four couples with five kids, the oldest three years old. You can guess the mess.
I cooked dinner (it has always been my duty here) but then we had to wait for all the kids to be put to sleep to finally all sit down at the table and have a proper meal. Red wine. Then patxarana.
I still had to take the daily shot. The guys are all followers of this blog. So they offered to have a walk with me around the town. I found this place close to Dario’s, it’s the backdoor entrance of a posh restaurant at the Leiden’s Gate, De Poort.
Tomorrow I’ll try to spend some proper time with the camera.h
