Lens: Voigtlander color-skopar 35mm f2.5
Camera: NEX-7, ISO100, f8, 1/320, raw
I never looked forward to downloading an update as the last Apple Aperture’s one. It finally adds NEX-7 raw file compatibility to the software I use for storage, organization, post-processing, and publishing of all of my shots. And, for what I could see at ISO100, NEX-7 raws are simply exceptional. If you don’t know what a raw file is and why I should be so happy not to be forced to shoot in jpeg anymore, try to google “raw vs jpeg” and you’ll find tons of website addressing the topic. For the moment believe me when I say that it is all well and good.
Talking about the shot, today I went for another suicidal-bunny shot. Today’s bunny is a productive member of society which performs its duties quietly and regardless of the concurrent situation. It’s so stupidly committed to its quiet, structured, and programmed life that it can’t seem to see how it’s simply helping out in cooking itself to death. Have you ever felt that way?
I’m starting to realize that these suicidal-bunny shots are some kind of psychological exercise which help me to physically represent my fears in an ironic and detached way. I could be the bunny stuck to death by its inability to take life decisions, or I could be the one working for its executioner, killed by its inability to keep a proper level of awareness. Different days I feel like different bunnies!
Which other bunny could I be? Let’s wait till the next bunny-suicidal shot to find out 🙂
