I still have the daily picture to shoot, but first I need to cook some dinner. The babysitter left the TV is turned on a movie. Claudia goes immediately […]
With a 365 the photographer publicly takes the responsibility of taking and publishing one shot each of the 365 days which make a year. It’s a tough project, which forces consistency and dedication.
I wanted my 365 to be like a diary of my life and my ideas, so I needed a camera to always bring along, wherever I had to go, whatever I had to do. It wasn’t easy since quality and compactness are not exactly synonymous in digital photography.
Finally, for my thirty-third birthday I bought myself a Sony NEX-7, a great little professional system. With it I started my own 365 project (actually a 365+1 project, since 2012 is a leap year), which will end when I turn 34. I made the rule that every picture in the project must be taken with the NEX-7. Each photo gets published along with a short story on the project blog.

Mr. Bunny isn’t here to picture one of my fears, but to help me represent a distinct feeling. I’m (getting) stuck in the internet. […]

It’ll be a busy time, the photos will probably reflect the transformation that moving into the new house will produce in our life. There will also be other weddings, […]

Lens: Minolta 100mm f2.8 macroCamera: NEX-7, ISO400, f2.8, 1/25, raw It’s finally time to publish the first book of the four volumes which will eventually collect the whole material from the 365(+1) Days of NEX-7 project. Even if the book does nothing more than replicate the same […]

Lens: Voigtlander color-skopar 35mm f2.5Camera: NEX-7, ISO1600, f2.5, 1/6, raw Some time ago I participated to a competition on urban landscape with a panoramic, wide angle shot of a basket court. The photo was completely ignored. This is what I wrote about it:“Basketball courts are one of the […]

It’s being a great journey so far, at least for me. I think that if you look at all the photos from day […]
